Dewey Roberts is a versatile singer/songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Santa Barbara CA.

 

He plays and writes a wide variety of music. From calm classical guitar to belting vocals, and slappin' bass to saxophone solos, Dewey strives to create his own unique style in every project.

 

Growing up listening to Disney music as well as artists like ‘The Beatles’ and ‘The Beach Boys’, Dewey has a strong love for classic rock music as well as all kinds of music! Dewey Roberts began playing music at 12 y/o and hasn't put it down since! Beginning with learning bass guitar, Dewey’s passion for making music was immediate.

 

Dewey played saxophone and guitar in his high school bands. He released his first original album ‘Common Essence’ at the age of 21 after raising $7,000 to produce the project. Dewey has played at many different kinds of events such as weddings, receptions, parties, restaurants, fundraisers and more. He was the $1,000 winner of the ‘Lezlies Showcase of Talent ’in 2015 (article link attached below). Dewey was music director of both Solvang School and Bethania Church. His music video 'Box of Rock' featuring Luke Hemming was released in 2019 and was his first official music video. In 2019, he was awarded Solvang’s ‘Best Musician and Composer’ award. In 2020, Dewey released his Christmas single 'Home For The Holidays'. Dewey released his ‘Acoustic Album’ composition in June 2022.

Creating music that evokes emotion and creativity is 'Dewey’s highest goal.
